Yellowstone National Parks in Wyoming is one of my favorites. The geothermal areas fascinate me. This image shows the outflow from a hot spring which feeds algal mats; the algae creates the textured mess that is, in my eyes, beautiful. Taken on a road trip to the park in 1993.
